![]() Marck Zuehlsdorff is the branch manager of Bank of America in Berkeley, California. A customer was directed to Marck when his cash deposit was short $35. Marck quickly identified the problem and said he saw that a decision had been made for a $35 credit, but was unsure why the credit had not yet posted. Marck Zuehlsdorff was the third BofA employee to discuss the $35 credit, but he was the first to take actions towards correcting the error. When Mr. Zuehlsdorff failed to get the account corrected, the terminally ill account holder suffered an outrageous and complete unaccemtable chain of events. Bank of America's OVERDRAFT FEE SCAM charged $600 for just $35 in charges. The disabled customer made many attempts to get the bank to correct their mistake that caused the $600 in ridicules charges, but was continually told that the customer was the cause for the error. When the customer's Social Security was direct deposited into his account, the bank took towards their fees. |
